Mr. Daryl Mahler was a good man and a gentle man that was loved and respected by everyone. A loving husband and father; an extremely dedicated Physical Education Teacher, Program Chair and coach at Denis Morris Catholic High School, where he taught for 20 years (25 years of teaching). As a teacher he always made decisions with the needs of students first and had their best interest at heart. Daryl loved his role as teacher. He was a strong supporter of the long standing Denis Morris traditions. Daryl was a perfect fit to DM because he embodied the school motto – Wisdom, Excellence and Understanding. He will forever be remembered as a prominent contributor. [Daryl’s initials match with the school’s for a reason.] Daryl touched the lives of many people in a highly positive way. He greeted everyone positively and with a smile. Daryl holds a special place in the hearts of all staff, students, parents and friends of the Denis Morris School Community.
